LEWIS MFG. SEALED BALL BEARING SWIVELS
|
|
 |
For Directional Boring
Sealed - Never Needs Lubrication U.S. Pat. No. 5,484,220 |
| Lewis Sealed Directional Boring Swivels prevent equipment's rotational torque from interfering with the product being pulled. In a typical boring application, the swivel is attached behind the reamer head and to the pipe or cable being pulled through the bore. Permanently sealed to keep contaminants out, they never require lubrication. |

- It is important that you read and understand all breaking strength, safety and technical data relating to
Swivels. Please order carefully.
- Do not exceed published working load on any swivel.
- It is essential to inspect all swivels before and after each use. If a
swivel is loose and/or the bearings feel rough when rotated or are seized
and cannot be rotated, the swivel should be removed from service
immediately.
- Always select a swivel larger than the machine capacity. If a swivel is
exposed to a load exceeding the posted work load it should be removed from
service immediately, and a larger swivel should be used thereafter.
Failure to do so could lead to serious injury or
even death.
